Secondary School Orientation Program October 2019 at Onitsha

The Morality Rescue Team of Global Initiative For Proper Parenting took the messages of hope to Trinity College in Onitsha Anambra State Nigeria. This is part of the activities of the Onitsha Catholic Archdiocesan Secondary School Orientation program to curb social vices in our secondary schools and among our teenagers. The team opened the eyes of the teenagers to issues and consequences of  Bullying, substance abuse, cultism and sexual abuse. We did not fail to let them know the importance of having a healthy self esteem and as well how to develop one for those who had low self esteem.
It was an eye opener for the students. They were so glad to see adults who would talk to them on these issues and the same time listen to them in a non judgmental way.
We had question and answer session, from their questions, one will clearly see the effects of parental negligence on the teenagers. Many complained of lack of quality time by their parents which led to sexual abuse, cultism, pornography etc.
